PREPARE TO BE STARED AT. A DOGMA isn’t like other bikes. It will never be boring. It’s a piece of design, a work of art. The DOGMA stands out and attracts attention and it would be unthinkable for Pinarello to create a bike any other way.
Because beauty is part of our DNA.
The DOGMA evolves, changing its skin to surprise you one more time.
We tested this new carbon fiber lay-up our X-Light models and Ineos Grenadiers team bikes.
This new fibre has an exceptional tensile module that allowed us to reach the next level of lateral stiffness performance on the latest generation of our DOGMA F.
Every shape, every detail, every new line on the bike has been designed to reduce the CDA by 0.2% (weighted average over different yaw angles).
We worked on a series of small but important improvements, all developed using the latest Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and countless hours in the wind tunnel.
The downtube has been completely redesigned to reduce the thickness and therefore improve the frontal aerodynamic performance of the frame and the aero drag
The new DOGMA F down tube is rotated by 3.5°, to create a keel shape that improves the aero performance of the BB area by 1.2%.
Our unique head tube “nose” shape, introduced first on the DOGMA F8 in 2014, evolves again, reducing the volume and the width of of the nose area by 8mm with a more streamlined design to improve the frontal aero penetration.
To reduce so much the width of headtube we had to design an innovative elliptical steering tube and a completely new headset with differentiated bearings diameter, wider on the bottom and narrower at the top.
Moreover, we had to move the internal cable routing on the front of the steering tube compared with the previous version where cables were running on the sides
New shorter thru axles.
The bolt on the righ side of the fork has been integrated in the carbon eliminating the external hole. Same has been done also on the frame with the additional integration of the rear derailleur dropout. This solution improves both design and aero performances of the frame
The new slimmer fork design improves aerodynamics, with a 47mm rake, tested with pro rider feedback to improve handling and speed on the descents.
Our seatpost clamp has been reduced in size and fully integrated inside the frame seat tube. This new solution reduces the weight, improves the design and increases the cleanliness of the system by limiting the amount of dust and sweat that can access the clamp.
Lighter, faster, more aero
The new Talon Ultra Fast integrated cockpit is lighter and more aero. It is designed with a natural twisted lever position to allow our riders to find a more aero position in a safe manner.
