Richard Carapaz wins the Olympic gold at Tokyo 2020

'I simply waited for my moment' says Ecuador's second-ever Olympic champion

The INEOS Grenadiers athlete Richard Carapaz stormed to gold with a tremendous solo attack in the men’s road race to make Olympic Games history for Ecuador.

Riding the new Dogma F the Ecuadorian – who finished third at the Tour de France last week – finished 1:07 ahead of a select chasing group after more than six hours in the saddle.

Also the other athletes of the INEOS Grenadiers TEAM did well in the race: Adam Yates finished ninth for Team GB and Kwiatkowski (Poland) was 11th as the chase group sprinted for the remaining medals on the line.

Exactly 30 days after its launch, the new Dogma F confirms his racing pedigree in a glorious winning race!
