Joaquim Rodriguez, spanish of the Caisse d'Epargne, won the third stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico, 195 chilometers, with start in Gubbio and arrival on the hard clim of Montelupone (Macerata): 1200 metres with some passages at 20%.



The catalan rider, at his firs win, won ahead of the Italian rider Danilo Di Luca (LIQ) and the svedish Niklas Axelson (DIQ), now leader of the race.



After the finish line Rodiguez declared himself very proud, expecially 'cause the arrival it's the harder of the race, know as the "Mur de Huy of Tirreno adriatico", as the final clim of the Flèche Wallonne
