After a superb season, Caisse d'Epargne-Iles Balears Alejandro Valverde captured the ProTour Title. Valverde rode his Pinarello Paris Carbon FP to back to back wins in Fleche Wallone & Liege-Bastogne-Liege, as well as a superb bronze medal in the World Championships in Salzburg, Austria.
