With a tremendous final sprint in Milano, Alessandro Petaccchi took his 4th stage win at this years Giro d'Italia and his 21st win of the 2005 season.

Riding their Pinarello Dogma FP bicycles, Petaccchi's Fassa Bortolo leadout train positioned the super sprinter perfectly to win.
