Fassa Bortolo is 100% focused on Alessandro Petacchi to in the 88th edition of the Giro d'Italia that starts Saturday in Reggio Calabria, on the toe of the Italian boot. Petacchi and his eight Fassa Bortolo teammates will ride Pinarello Dogma FP bicycles at this year's Giro d'Italia.



Last year, Petacchi won a record nine stages and even he thinks that mark will be hard to match. "Winning nine

stages will be hard, because with this year's mountainous route, I only see six stages that could come down to a sprint. I'd be happy to win three stages, because the

field is more difficult as well, with sprinters like Zabel

and McEwen."
