Ale-Jet Petacchi (Fassa Bortolo) launched his Pinarello Dogma FP to victory today in Valencia, his seventh win of the 2005 season and also won the overall general classification and the points competition at the 63rd edition of the Vuelta Ciclista a la Comunidad Valenciana.



I can't hide it...I'm the strongest I've ever been," Petacchi said after his Valencia win today. "Yesterday I

confirmed it; it was good that we could not do the final climb in the snow, but the parcours was hard and I was in front with the leaders. My win today was the cherry on the cake at the end of a fantastic week for my team. We won

four of five stages here and the final classification.

So to do more for Fassa Bortolo was impossible. Now I'll return to Italy on Sunday and then Wednesday go and ride

the final part of the route of Milan-San Remo. I don't want to leave anything to chance."
