In Friday's Mens U23 Road Race in Verona, talented young Danish Mads Christensen took the bronze medal in the three-up sprint from the lead break.



Saturday saw a superb ride from 20 year old Italian woman Tatiana Guderzo

in the Elite Womens World Road Championship. European U23 TT champ and already a solid tenth in the Elite Womens World TT Championship on her Pinarello Montello, Guderzo made an audacious attack on the last climb of the Torricelle hill and ended up away with eventual winner Judith Arndt from Germany. Guderzo held off the hard-charging gruppo to win the Silver medal

on her Pinarello Prince SL.
