With another superb sprint today in Valencia, Ale-Jet Petacchi took his third Vuelta d'Espana stage out of seven total. Petacchi and his Fassa Bortolo boys rode a perfect finale on their Pinarello Dogma bicycles to give the Tuscan rider his 19th win of the 2004 season.



"I know this finish here in Valencia, and it seemed almost perfect for me," Petacchi said. "I asked the Fassa team to do what they could for me and they came through for me."
