On a rainy day in Holland, Ale-Jet Petacchi took another win in 2004, this time in the ENECO Ronde van Nederland

"I'm still not at the top of my condition after my long absence from competition," commented Petacchi of his 17th win of the year. "But I'm beginning to find the right rhythm to confront the best in the Vuelta a España. To win is always good for the morale."
