Swiss rider Fabian Cancellara, 23 years old just last month, rode a superb race in his first try at Paris-Roubaix, finishing in 4th place in the final sprint on the Roubaix Velodrome aboard his Pinarello Dogma. Cancellara and his teammate Juan Antonio Flecha rode well all day in the tough, cobblestone classic race with Cancellara making the final selection.
At Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix, the Fassa Bortolo teams used new Pinarello Dogma frames, where the seat tube & chain stay wall thickness have been increased by 0.15 mm in these zones but will change the fork to a standard, non-Onda carbon fibre model with a more gentle 4.7 degree rake, different from the normal 4.4 degree rake of the Onda fork.
