Illes Balears-Banesto rider Jos� Ivan Gutierrez was an excellent runner-up in the 73rd Crit�rium International in Charleville-M�zi�res, France this weekend, just as he was in the Vuelta Murcia earlier this month in Spain. In Sunday mornings 98.5km Stage Two from Les Vielles Forges to Montherm�, Gutierrez was sixth and in the afternoons Stage 3, a short 8.3 km ITT in Charleville-M�zi�res ITT, Gutierrez was a close 2nd, only 23 hundredths of a second behind Stage 2 & 3 and Overall GC Winner Jens Voight. Gutierrez finished 1.12" ahead of World time trial champion David Millar and American Lance Armstrong. Illes Balears-Banesto is sponsored by Opera Bicycles.
