The "Gentleman" sprinter Alessandro Petacchi has won another sprint. With an irresistible turn of speed he crossed the line first at the end of the third stage of the Tour de France. Behind him on another Pinarello Dogma bike was German champion Erik Zabel.

Petacchi's win on the Dogma is another impressive performance by this new bike made entirely from magnesium which is able to withstand and direct the explosive power of the worlds' fastest sprinters. Cicli Pinarello is the first company to offer a frame made entirely from magnesium AK 61 alloy.
