Erik Zabel (Team Telekom) is riding the Vuelta Espana with the brand new Pinarello Prince SL: the 2003 version of the widely appreciated Prince of the well-known bike producer of Treviso. The new Prince SL is more rigid compared with the previous version (the Prince LS)but the most interesting aspect is the forks and the rear stays both called ONDA which are completely made from carbon fiber with a revolutionary design. The shape of the fork and the rear stays allows an increased absorbment of the vertical and longitudinal vibrations and guarantees high stability during turns and braking.
