04.21.11 Elena Berlato: fourth palce in the Flèche Wallone.
Riding her Pinarello Dogma, Elena Berlato from Team Top Girls has proven her ability as a climber winning fourth place in the Flèche Wallonne.
This fourth round of the World Cup is a 109 km course, starting from the town of Huy.
The most challenging section of this race is the dreaded ‘wall’, a 128 vertical meter climb with a gradient ranging from 10% to 25%.
The young rider from Vicenza was not fazed; she was determined to improve her eighth place performance in 2010 and did not for once lose concentration showing her great determination whilst making the most of Dogma’s power and lightness to reach her goal with pure grit.
Not just an excellent performance, but a spot in the top ten riders of the World Cup rankings. Great prospects for the young athlete and her Pinarello signed two wheels.
