Chris Froome will be taking part in the 2018 Giro d’Italia.

The great announcement was kept secret until the last moment at the Giro presentation ceremony held in Milan today on November 29th.

Chris will be competing in the Giro d’Italia for the first time since 2010, and will be aiming to complete a third consecutive Grand Tour victory after his 2017 wins at the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana. A win at the Giro d’Italia would be a first for both Team Sky and Chris.

Later next summer Chris will go on to target a fifth Tour de France victory, potentially aiming to complete cycling’s first Giro d’Italia/Tour de France double since 1998.
