Even in the world of Cyclocross our past is full of victories. The reference name is that of Daniele Pontoni, Italian star of the Cyclocross of the 90s, World Champion of the Amateur and Elite category, winner of the World Cup, Italian champion, who riding our bikes has marked our debuts in this discipline.
Today we return with a brand new frame derived directly from our road bike.
Design 4 Cyclocross
We worked hard to create a perfect combination of maximum performance and versatility. We have not given up the aerodynamic elements that characterize all our bikes, with the aim of flying in the mix of surfaces that the increasingly fast race fields of the modern CX.
For this reason we find in the CROSSISTA technical characteristics that mark us, such as our Flatback ™ sections that improve the aerodynamic efficiency , more rigid and light compared to traditional oval sections.
The frame has been developed to have the largest possible space between the tires and the frame to facilitate the evacuation of the mud, CROSSISTA is designed for the use of both the 700c x 32mm covers as required by the UCI regulations, and for larger section tires, the particular geometry makes the frame very precise at the entrance of the corner and particularly reactive at the exit, guaranteeing maximum performance in the cross-country trails, maintaining the driving feeling of absolute value as usual PINARELLO.
Small but important details have been designed to improve your performance even in the less fast sections of the CX tracks. For example, the horizontal tube has an asymmetrical section that adapts to the ergonomics of the shoulder to facilitate the transport of the bike, while the section of the rear Flex Stays ensures maximum traction in the roughest terrain.

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY: Possibility to mount the cables inside the frame without interruptions, allowing a soft change even in extreme mud conditions
